A Proper Tavern
What We Love Now

A ranch-inspired newcomer bringing bacon-wrapped meatloaf, stiff pours, and frontier swagger to Sisters’ new restaurant row.
Three Finger Jack Tavern feels like the kind of place that’s been around forever in the best possible way. The ranch-inspired tavern opened in 2025 with a simple promise painted right into its tagline: “Steak. Seafood. Firewater. Friends.” Inside, old westerns flicker on the televisions, the cocktails come strong, and the atmosphere strikes a sweet spot between mountain town hangout and classic roadside tavern.
The menu leans toward hearty, unfussy fare, full of bold flavors and comfort food done right. The Mountaintop Meatloaf, wrapped in bacon with a whiskey-kissed ketchup glaze, has already developed a local following for good reason. Equally memorable is the bone-in pork chop sourced from Sisters Meat and Smokehouse, served with Grandma Harriet’s old-school applesauce, a sweet-savory side dish with a hint of mystery spice that keeps diners guessing.
There’s plenty more to love, from Tequila Shrimp Tacos to the Smokehouse Burger on a Sisters Bakery brioche bun, plus playful starters like fried alligator: “Gator Spurs.” Dessert is practically mandatory. Granny Rhonda’s Got a Gun — an apple crisp splashed with Bulleit Bourbon and topped with vanilla ice cream — is big enough to share but tempting enough not to.
With warm service, local roots, and a welcoming western spirit, Three Finger Jack Tavern captures the easygoing heart of Central Oregon dining right now.
