Traditionally, lū‘aus are important family celebrations with a feast of favorite foods, mo‘olelo (story telling), mele (music) and hula. Lū‘au o Hale Hoaloha brings together all of these, as an award winning cast shares Mauna Lani's very special history and the true essence of aloha and ‘ohana with everyone in attendance. Held under the stars every Monday and Friday evening, guests are welcomed on to the ‘ilipana (land area) of Kalāhuipua‘a and immediately understand what makes a gathering at Mauna Lani a forever memory.
